Juliana James Lassa aka Julie Pen, hails from Askira – Uba Local Government area of Borno State. She is the rst child among six children of her parent. Her foray into Music started as teenager, when she was in'uenced to join the choir by her strict Christian mother who imparted the Christian doctrine in her at an early age. Her musical talent was further red up by the inspiration shegot from the music legendary artistes like Dolly Parton, Don Wiiliams, Kenny Roggers, Hossana music, Cristy lane and later, Panam Percy Paul and Bishop Fred Addo among others.She remained grateful to her dad who kept musical collections athome which was dominated by the work of the aforementionedartist. Her love for God motivated her to praise him throughmusic, especially when she presented her rst song titled “I wantto be like You” and became the overall winner at the rstmanifest your best in 2008, a musical talent hunt eventorganize by International Praise Church Abuja. She has written a couple of songs and will continue to do that andproduce them into Albums for the people to hear and know thegospel through it. Her knowledge of God and serving Him has resulted in unlimitedblessings in her life. She felt indebted to Him and the only way forher to show appreciation is to serve Him and evangelize throughmusic.She is a graduate of sociology from the University of Abuja.
